Rachael Croll, RYT- Owner/Instructor

Rachael has been practicing yoga for over a decade and it has become her life’s work to share its many gifts and benefits with the community. After leaving behind the world of corporate finance, fatigued from cubicle life, she began to design the life she always envisioned. Merging business knowledge with her passions she formed Salty Buddha. Rachael is a Master Trainer for Stoked Yogi, certifying yoga instructors across the world to teach SUP Yoga. In addition she hosts international retreats, women’s empowerment circles, and kids paddle camps.

Crystal Scherer, RYT & Paddle Instructor

Crystal discovered the physical benefits of yoga after a car accident left her unable to walk in 2011. She continued vinyasa yoga as a compliment to her regular fitness routine of strength training and running. Throughout the following years, she began to deepen her practice. A burnt out social worker struggling with compassion fatigue and poor mental and emotional health, she found that yoga helped her gain confidence, clarity and a new community of love and support.

 In 2018, she received her 200 hour RYT certificate after immersing herself into the jungle of Costa Rica at Passion Yoga School. She now enjoys helping others step out of their comfort zone, making yoga accessible to every body. Her classes incorporate flows inspired by her love of all things fitness in hopes students will leave feeling stronger mentally and physically.

 An outdoors lover, aerial silks teacher, runner and fitness coach, Crystal believes living an active lifestyle helps maintain overall mental, emotional and physical health.

Dan Basinger, CPT & Paddle Instructor

Dan is a certified personal trainer helping clients reach their full potential with health and fitness. A expert paddler, nature enthusiast, and accomplished athlete- he is a true asset to Salty Buddha. Dan leads kids paddle camps in the summer and is a knowledgable paddle guide year round offering tours and group paddles.
